Lars Mikkelsen-1Lars Dittmann Mikkelsen was born 6 May 1964. He is an actor from Denmark. He has played Troels Hartmann Copenhagen's mayoral candidate in The Killing. [1] Charles Augustus Magnussen was the third series of Sherlock. Viktor Petrov, the Russian president, was played by the character in the American House of Cards. Star Wars Rebels featured Grand Admiral Thrawn as Thrawn. He was presented with the Reumert Prize of Honour in 2011. At the age of 27 when he began his studies, he was accepted into the National Theatre School of Denmark. He graduated from that school in 1995. He was also a part of The Killing's drama. [1] He then was a part of Borgen III and Those Who Kill and Those Who Kill, both highly well-known Danish drama series. He also had a prominent role in an episode of BBC drama Sherlock as the blackmailer Charles Augustus Magnussen.In the American TV show House of Cards, he played the role of President Russia. He won an International Emmy Award in 2018 for his part in Danish drama Herrens Veje,which was broadcast in the UK in 2019 under the name Ride Upon the Storm
