Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg she grew up in Wellington and first made her acting debut in the role of Flora McGrath when she played the role of Flora McGrath in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 as Best Actress Supporting Actress. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th July 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actress, and New Zealander who, as a kid won an Academy Award in 1993 for the most outstanding actor supporting. She played the rebellious daughter of Holly Hunter's portrayer in The Piano. When she answered an open invitation to auditions and was selected for the part, she performed as Flora McGrath, the daughter of a deaf Scottish piano player who moved from Scotland to New Zealand in mid-19th-century to be married. It was her first role at the age of nineteen and did not have any prior experience in acting. In her teens, Paquin made the move to America. Paquin had the role of lead in Fly Away Home in 1996 and was also in a smaller role as Jane Eyre at the time she was only a child. Paquin played Frankie Addams in a 1997 film adaptation for television of Carson McCullers's novel The Member of the Wedding and also played a part as Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997). She was also a character on the screen in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon(1999) as well as Almost Famous (2000). Also, she played the character Polexia Aphrodisa.
