Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian and TV personality popular as anchor on The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. Born in Arkansas she grew up in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is part of a clan which has experienced a variety of troubles. She spent the majority of her early years caring for her older sister Frankie suffering from Polio. She was in issues with her mother when growing up. Sheryl states that in one instance her mother stabbed her father over the head because she was having a relationship with her. Sheryl became a military officer after graduating from the college. Sheryl's love of comedy was stronger. In 1989, she became the first woman in history to reach the top in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. In 1992she made her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she hosted her own show Oh Drama! In 2011, she began making appearances in The Talk as co-host. Additionally, she's performed fictional roles on television shows like Bulworth Nikki, and Beauty Shop.
