Fawn Mckay
Fawn McCay Brodie, born at Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Fawn, a member of the Mormon church's most prestigious family, combined her literary abilities and outstanding research skills into a brilliant biography on Joseph Smith. No Man knew My History appeared in 1945. That title was taken from a funeral sermon given by the founding father of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844 when he startled those he addressed with the words"You don't even know me." you never knew my heart. My history is unknown to anyone. Nobody knows my story. Fawn 29, who was 29 has written. Fawn has taken on the mantle of writing since the day he began. Some have made an attempt to create a diagnostic diagnosis. Documents are not lacking however they do have a lot of contradictions. The task of assembling the papers -and separate the firsthand sources from a third-party plagiarism and then fit Mormon as well as non Mormon accounts together into a reliable mosaic isn't an simple task. This is exciting and also instructive. Fawn Brodie's professional life was dedicated to this goal. Thaddeus S. Stevens was immortalized by her works and the fruit of her study. The Devil drives (1959). Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon and An Intimate Historiography (1974).
